OH THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS DELIGHTFUL
But it's supposed to turn frightful by afternoon. It's really windy, but sunny and 48 right now. But by lunchtime, the wind is supposed to change and come from the North and West bringing temps below freezing for the afternoon, then the teens overnight. Glad the furnace is working good!
Poor "A" is so sick. She has the symptoms of strep (you know, the headache, the body aches, the sore throat, the high fever) but the doctor said the rapid strep test was negative. The culture won't be ready until Monday. I'm thinking of having Dennis take her to the Urgent Care so she can get started on an antibiotic.
This time five years ago my number 9 grandchild was born 4 weeks early. The cord was wrapped really really tight around her neck, and she didn't breathe right away. The ob picked her up by her ankles and spun her and the cord fell away, and Brooklyn cried! There were no ill effects, and Brooklyn has grown into a sweet, beautiful, intelligent child with gold hair, and blue eyes. Happy birthday, Brooklyn! Mi Mi loves you!

Glad that the stressful birth didn't have lasting affects. Hope the sickie child gets better soon. Now batten down those hatches and spark a fire to tuck in for your winter lashing!
Glad my blog made you smile. Hope the sickle cell gets better, that is a horrible disease. Have a Merry holiday season.
Hi Dianne,
I'm so happy to meet you! I am also kind of stuck here at home an awful lot and I also love books so much! I hope your all feeling better.
