Common Sense Sunday

If life seems to be throwing storms at you, look for the rainbow. God has promised us He will go through the storms with us. He even says "Peace. Be still". I'm guilty of forgetting the rainbow. I get all caught up in the storms. I don't like that about myself, but I am praying about it, and working on it.

Common sense says take care of your friends. True friends are hard to come by, and if you have a true friend who you know will "have your back", pray for that friend daily, and take care of the friendship. I have a couple of friendships that are more than 35 years old.

I was asked to play a part in a homeschooling movie. I said yes, and I'm so glad I did! The young sapling with me in the picture is my soon to be 13 years old grand daughter, Abby. Common sense said I shouldn't be out there walking around in the woods, but the grandmother in me said go ahead and do it. I'm really glad I did.

"That He would grant you, according to the richness of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love." Ephesians 3:16,17
