Went for a walk and forgot my camera. Wouldn't you know that the very best picture opportunities were missed because I didn't take it with me?!! A big beautiful blue jay was sitting on the sidewalk in front of a neighbor's house pecking at the pecans that fell from the tree. The bird allowed me to get quite close. And no camera.
A huge butterfly sitting on my neighbor's flower. And no camera. So I went back home to get the forgotten camera. Back outside. Walking. Walking. Walking. Hmmmm, where did all of nature go?? No birds were pecking at the pecans. No beautiful butterflies were sitting sipping nectar from my neighbor's flowers. See the empty flower? The huge moth sitting on the neighbor's house was just sitting there. It was bigger than the picture shows. But I was too afraid to go closer!! :)
Today is overcast and cool out. It's 71 right now and supposed to go up to 89. If it rains, and goes to 89, it'll be a sauna out today! Which reminds me, I'm so thankful for central air conditioning.........that works.
Dennis will see his primary care doctor (which to also be my own primary care dr) tomorrow morning. He had some pretty big ouchies from the car accident, and his back is still hurting. He is one of those guys who will not go to the dr. There is no well care for that man. He will only go when something is very seriously wrong with him.....you know, like a "widow maker" type heart attack. That episode nearly killed him. So I reminded him (subtly, you know...I'm a good wife after all), of that, and told him he really should go now before it turns into something too big to handle without the hospital. So, he actually said ok, and made the appointment. He has threatened to cancel it....at least a dozen times. And like the good wife I am, I don't say anything.
I will see a surgeon this Thursday. While my primary care dr was examining all my car accident boo-boo's he found a golf ball size lump in my left breast. He doesn't think it's connected to the car accident. Prayers that fear won't eat me up before I see the surgeon. :(

Prayers for both you and Dennis as you see your doctors this week.Enjoyed your pictures.I like to take my camera along when I am outside. You never know what you might capture. One of my favorite seasons for pictures is fast approaching.I love taking pictures of all of the autumn colors.
I hope all your health fears end up unfounded! It's a pretty zinnia, but it isn't empty. There's a skipper sitting on it, didn't you notice?
