It's been a while since I've been here. So I think I'll bring you up to date.
In the last post, we had had a car accident. I'm still dealing with the paperwork, but we have at least made a dent (no pun intended!) in it. Even got some papers FedExed to the insurance agency.
On Tuesday the 20th of September I had a mammogram and an ultra sound done on the lump that was found. No cancer found! It's from the accident.
On Wednesday September 22nd my dad fell and crushed the bones in his neck and back resulting in complete paralyzes. He has instructed that no measures be taken to keep him alive. Since no surgery will help him, the doctor has assigned him to Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. This wise and wonderful man is lying in a bed unable to move anything, not even his head. My oldest brother called me on Saturday and turning his cell phone to speaker, I was able to talk to Dad and to one more time hear his voice. I'm devastated to know that I will have to live in a world without my dad.
