School has started and other stuff

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to school they go!

They have been so excited to go back to school. Every day they talked about it. They talked friends, they talked teachers, they talked everything. Then Thursday afternoon Dennis took them to the school to find out which teachers they got. A discovered she had a male teacher, and she f*r*e*a*k*e*d out. I'm talked sobbing, crying, hiccups, the whole enchilada. No talking to her when she's like this. So I held her, hugged her, and soothed her. When she was calm again, I explained that it's probably an easy fix. But it's good to try new things. ("no it isn't") It's a good thing to meet new people. ("no it isn't, Mommy") Friday morning when she was going out the door, I reminded her that it's a good thing to try something new. (she reminded me that "no it isn't") Dennis took A straight to the principal of the school, and explained that Ally has been really upset about having been given a man teacher. Easy fix! The principal has known A all A's school life, and she understands that A has Asperger's. Teacher was changed in about 5 minutes. Dennis said they left the office with A smiling ear to ear! She came home the same way. Praise God!

Brianna started 6th grade. She will now be riding the bus, and changing classes, and having 7 teachers. She came home smiling ear from ear, and very happy! Praise God!

Cheyenne has the teacher she was hoping for, and several of her friends are in her class. Praise God!

Our school year is only one day old, and all three girls are happy.

I saw the cardiologist on Friday. He feels that my symptoms aren't coming from heart issues. But to be safe, he will be doing a chemical stress test on Monday morning at the hospital. If the results of that test show my arteries are open, and my heart is ok, then I need to return to the dr who did the upper endoscopy and found symptoms of Barrett's Syndrome. (Google that. It isn't pretty)

Diane I hope all will go well if you have to have the chemical stress test. I went through that with my hubby and he didn't get results for like 2 weeks! Ugh! (And the results were fine, so he/we worried for nothing!) I'd hope yours would come sooner...it's so hard to wait to wait.

Oh, and I have Barrett's Esophagus too. I just have to take Prevacid everyday and then I don't have symptoms. But I agree, it is not a pretty sight when they show you the result pictures.

You have a lot on your plate with everything and I will just keep you in my prayers girl!

Oh, and I am going to check out those books you mentioned...Thanks
