Brianna, Brooklyn and Cheyenne color a picture. They did a good job!
Looks like Ally is deep in thought. Wonder what she's thinking.
I like this picture of Cheyenne even though it's blurry.
September 1st is my dad's 86th birthday. He had so many heart problems for so many years I never dared believe he would live to be 86. I am so thankful that God in His infinite mercy and grace allowed Dad to stay on Earth to enjoy the family he loves so much. He has written a special story for each family member, and is still writing stories for the new "great ones" that are still arriving. My dad has such a ready smile, and a quick laugh. Everyone loves my dad's sense of humor, and he passed it to all his kids! I love you, Daddy, and I hope your special day is wonderful for you.
The insurance company has totaled out our car. Which means it would cost more to repair the car than what we owe on it. So now we are car shopping again. DJ will be checking out cars online, then we will go look at the car to see if it's really what we want. We like the loaner car. But we don't want a black vehicle in Oklahoma's heat. I don't want a white car. Don't know why.
I'm having a tough time getting back inside a car, fastening the seat belt, and going away from home. Too many painful memories. Not to mention a very painful body to remind me. But I'm made of tough stuff, so I'll get past this. I want to be a good roll model for these girls, so I won't give in to negative thoughts and actions. "God has not given me a spirit of fear; but of power; love; and a sound mind".
