Monday, Monday. can't trust that day

My girlie girls and I have spent some time trying to learn how to do highlights.
I looked online to see how to use Kool Ade, but learned it could damage your hair, and it takes a long time.

I bought a box of hair color. The lightest blonde shade I could find, and put some in each girl's hair.

With Ally, the color is more golden. Because she has dark hair. It still looks very good though!

In Cheyenne and Brianna's hair it's blonde. It shows the most in the sun. I love it!

We had a fun and exciting time with the hair coloring. We will do it again. I think I learned some things and how to maybe do it a little different. I think it was exciting, and I think the girls are happy with the results.

It's really hot in our house. We've had air conditioning problems all summer. In Oklahoma a central unit is necessary, and important. This year the humidity has been especially high, and that's been miserable. We bought a window unit for the living room, but the room is too big, plus it flows into the kitchen, so the poor unit has had a difficult time keeping up with the heat. We put another unit in our bedroom window. Our bedroom is the right size for the unit, but Dennis and I feel guilty, so we leave our door open so hopefully the cool air will drift down the hall and into the hot bedrooms. But it dissipates before it gets to the other rooms. :(
We have had a repairman out a couple of times to repair the central unit. He is supposed to return tomorrow and replace the compressor. Sure hope that fixes the problem because the temperature is rising!
