Thankful Thursday....Prayer

Yay! It's again Thursday, and I can tell you what I am thankful for. There is so much to be thankful for. If you woke up this morning...be thankful. Some did not.
If you were able to get out of bed...be thankful. Some were not. If you could dress yourself...be thankful. Some could not. If you could feed yourself...be thankful. Some could not. You get the idea. We all have something to be thankful for. For me it's too numerous to list everything!

Number one on everyone's list here in the United States is the safe change over of power from one president to another. There are a lot of countries where that just is NOT done. Whethere or not you voted for Obama, please add him to your daily prayer list. Please pray for wisdom for him. Pray that he will come to know the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for discernment. There are many around the president that do not have our best interests at heart.

I am so thankful that Obama was able to stay SAFE during all the hullabaloo going on from the time he was nominated until he was inaugurated. I will continue to pray for his safety, and the safety of his family. I did not vote for him, but now that he is the president of the country I love dearly, I will continue to pray for his safety.

I am thankful that America is a place where I can attend worship services of my own choosing, and can loudly proclaim Jesus as my own personal Savior. In a lot of countries you can not do that! You could be arrested and jailed for having a Bible in some countries. (I won't say which one, because they might send me some toys or some baby formula..........or topple a pryamid over on me) I can sit here at my computer and write this without fear of arrest. I don't have to write it in code!!

No thankful Thursday would be complete without my again telling you how thankful for my continued healing and march toward good health! You may be tired of reading it, but by golly I'm not tired of proclaiming it!!

I am thankful for our precious Ally! Our adoption was finalized in court 5 years ago TODAY, and Ally became our daughter by law, as well as in our hearts! It't gotta be one of the best things we've ever done!
