While on the way to my mail.com email site this morning, I saw this:
"Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Randy Babbitt said Thursday in a statement that the controller has been suspended from his operational duties. He said he was "personally outraged" that the supervisor, the lone controller on duty in the airport tower at the time, failed to meet his duties.
An aviation official who spoke on condition of anonymity because an investigation is under way said the supervisor fell asleep."
So, I am so thankful that no one was injured or killed as two planes WERE LANDING at the time. The two planes had to land alone, with no help from the control tower. This took place in Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. Hope you aren't flying into or out of this airport today! If you are flying into or out of any airport, bet you think of this.....
I am thankful that I am feeling strong and healthy today. God's Word says "by His stripes we were healed". God said it, I believe it, that settles it.
The sun is shining, the sky is blue, a breeze is blowing, and it's 49 out. Our weather is changing again. Can't get settled around here. Winter always wants a last goodbye, and that is what is supposed to happen sometime around Monday evening.
My grand nephew is making his grand appearance April 4th. This isn't my first/only grand nephew/niece, but it is the first with a known condition before birth. Little Oliver will be born with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. He has an entire cast of family members waiting on his arrival! May God bless you and keep you. May He make His Face shine upon you, and give you peace.

I'm thankful that I was not on either plane and both landed safely. I am also thankful that I am not planning on flying any time soon!!
I'm thankful no one was hurt at the airport. That's scary. Praying for your new grand nephew!
Blessings,
Mel
