6 words Saturday

It's about time we got snow!

Promises, promises. We are always hearing that snow is predicted for our area, but then we are "on a line" and the snow goes somewhere else. But Thursday we got real, honest to goodness snow. Some places got 5", but we got 3". That's ok. In our area that's enough to get a snow day from school! And Friday the girls were out because everything that melted froze when the temperature went down to 7 overnight. It's 45 and overcast right now, so I can imagine the snow is melting. Another promise of snow for tomorrow night. We'll see!

I was raised in Dakota but live in Texas now. I would love to see the beauty of a snowfall now and then, but I'm glad they don't stay long in these parts on the rare times it happens!

We could use more moisture here in Kansas...so I wouldn't mind some more snow. But we only got a little bit several days ago.

I think snow is so beautiful when it is fresh and falling. I love the peaceful feeling it gives. I know it is a hassle for people who have to be out in it...but I just get to enjoy it from inside my warm house!

We've had a lot of snow promised that hasn't appeared, though we've still managed to have more of it than we would on average. I figure if it's this cold, it might as well snow!

Thanks for playing 6WS!
