1. I'm thankful today for antibiotics! "A" child has been diagnosed with strep,
and the doctor has prescribed antibiotics. Seems that now they can have one
injection or a 10 day round of antibiotics. I'll be surprised with "A" decides
on the injection!
2. Friends are a wonderful thing. I have friends that no matter what goes on, they
are here for me. Losing my dad has been a devastating issue for me to deal with.
I haven't wanted to talk to anyone, or be with anyone. My friends have been
really patient with me while going through this. Maybe it's because they have
been through it themselves, and they have empathy with me. Thanks, friends.
3. Eyeglasses are a wonderful invention. Without mine, the world would be such a
blurry, fuzzy place. And reading would be almost impossible. I'm wondering
about contacts. My glasses won't stay on (yes, I do need new glasses!) and
I'm thinking contacts would be way to go. Of course, I've watched a lot of
people trying to get those contacts in, so I am wondering if I would be in that
group of people....trouble getting them in.
4. Books. I love books. I love to read books. I love to touch and hold books.
I love to smell books. I love to travel through books, and meet new people that
do exciting things.
5. You. I'm thankful for YOU in my life. Even if we have never met in "real life"
it's wonderful to have the wonder of YOU. It's fun to get on my computer, and
"see" that you are here. Thank you for sharing your life, and your family
with me through your blog.
"So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away." Isaiah 51:11
