We had two gingerbread houses going at once. DJ and I worked on one and Brianna and Cheyenne worked on the other one. When DJ deserted his post, Ally took over helping me.
We probably will not be doing this gingerbread house making again! The icing is difficult to work with, and everytime your body heat from your hands touches the gingerbread, the icing gets soft again, and the walls go down. I even put mine in the refrigerator, and that didn't help. Brianna's house fell down almost immediately. Ally and I did get our house up and decorated, but while Ally was putting on the final finishes, the house crashed!
I guess it was a fun experience for us, and we had a lot of laughs. So it was all worth it! If you have ever managed to actually get a gingerbread up and decorated, I applaud you!

Looks like fun Dianne.I have never put together a gingerbread house but I honestly think that I would have all of the same problems that you and your girls had.Ken would have walked away just like DJ did.Doing this made special memories for your girls:)
