Sunday cooking

First of all, HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY TO MY GRANDSON, CHANDLER!! I love you!

It's really busy around here now that the girls are out of school, and fun summer classes. And it's really hot every day. It was 103 today. Now I don't care who you are, that's HOT!! You can imagine, the girls are swimming every day.

Today I got brave and decided to let whatever girls were interested help me cook. Brianna was the most excited. First we made sour cream and chives potatoes. (don't ask me for the recipe....it comes from a box!). Then we made green bean casserole.
That's something easy for beginner cooks, and was easy for Brianna, too. (lol!) Then Cheyenne wanted to get in on the fun, too, so I let her do the adding of the onions. When they wouldn't eat of the food, I said I wanted to know what yucky thing they put in it if they wouldn't eat their own food!! So they decided to try some of the casserole, and they actually liked it! Ally didn't join in the fun of cooking, she was on the computer. She's going to grow up to be a lady Bill Gates! That girls loves to compute.
