Sunny Sunday

Oh wow! Another beautiful sunny day in the neighborhood! Supposed to go up to 95* today.

We have been seeing "Asperger's Ally" since Friday. She cried for hours Friday because she found out that her wonderful teacher, Mrs Poplin, will not be returning to McAuliffe next year. She will be teaching in another school district. Now Ally is in a funk and very unhappy. She has been extra quiet all weekend. Last night she wrote such a sweet letter to Mrs Poplin and we will mail it tomorrow. If you are reading this, Mrs Poplin, look for a letter from Ally this week! =)

I have consented to leave my home today. If you know me (really know me), you know I seldom leave my house (except to sit out on our swing). But my friend, Sue, invited me to go with her to visit her mother-in-law (who lives in assistant living), then we will go to the Village Inn for their wonderful coffee. Yum! That is enough to make me leave home!!

God is so good to me. I give Him the glory that I can walk alone, my balance is improved, and I have more good days than bad. Thank you, Lord!

How nice to have a day out with your friend Sue.We are having the warmer weather now.Just came in from a walk with Jeremy. It is in the upper 80's and I felt it on our walk where it was sunny. The shaded areas weren't too bad though. So sorry to hear that Ally's teacher is leaving her school.Sounds like she will really be missed.
