Spring has sprung in our area! The pear trees are blooming all white and glorious, the daffodils are up and blooming, crocuses are blooming. Now I'm waiting on my favorites...tulips. I especially love pink tulips. Wonder why I don't have any planted in our flower gardens? I'll have to remedy that......
I love Mondays. Why when most people do not like Mondays, would I like them? Well, it has something to do with the noise levels in our home over the weekend! Right now it's so quiet, and so peaceful. Aaahhhhhhhh! Spring break is next week. The nosie levels will break out windows......
Sure looks like it wants to storm. It must be spring when the storm clouds start gathering! My heart goes out to the town in Illinois who had a really bad storm yesterday, and homes were destroyed. I began praying for our area back in December before the first storm raised it's ugly head. I'm really afraid of storms. That's new for me. But "what time I am afraid I will trust in You", and "God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind".
Ally has been acting very "Asperger-ish" lately with all the fronts moving through our area. She gets very quiet, and doesn't talk much. Even our son noticed the difference in her yesterday. She is normally a very picky eater, but when the fronts move through here, she eats even less than usual. (side note: I wish the fronts took away my appetite!)
Dennis and I have decided to return to working out at our church's gym. We begin that today! I'll let you know how that works out....no pun intended!
