Sweet Emily turned 13 on Friday July 18th. However did that time pass so quickly? But then how did the years pass by so quickly and her momma got old enough to have two teens in her own family?! Guess that makes me old, huh??Anyway, now we have three teens in our family of grandchildren. And it's delightful. Now we can actually have a conversation with each other! =) I've already raised three children to adulthood, so I've already been through the teen years and I didn't always enjoy that experience, but for the most part I did enjoy it. My grown kids only remember the embarrassing things I did and said while they were in their teens, but I remember the good things they did and said. I remember that Denise played the viola and did a great job of it. Dana sang in the school and church choirs, and did a great job. DJ was in the school marching band, and did a great job. They all had such a funny sense of humor (and still do!). They were/are very loving and compassionate.
So, therefore, I know that these wonderful teen grandchildren will turn out great, because their parents did! If I had known they would turn out so good, I wouldn't have worried as much!
