| I woke up this morning to Dennis telling me that our a.c. had gone out. He said while he was getting the dogs some water he realized that something was squealing really really loud. He went looking for the cause of the noise, and discovered that our central a.c. unit was barely turning and was squealing something horrible. He came into the house, woke me, and turned the a.c. off. We have a wonderful Christian repairman that we always call whenever we have a problem that's bigger than we can handle ourselves...such as air conditioning. Bob is honest, dependable, and really nice. He replaced our unit 5 years ago this month. So today he took off the top of the outside unit, and there under the lid was the date 7/30/2003. He looked up at me and said " God controlled the timing of this. If it had happened just 15 days later, this would have cost you a whole lot more". The motor had gone out on our unit, and must be replaced. All we owe Bob for today is his service call and labor. This could be costing us over $1,000 today. I always want to be one that turns around and tells the Lord thank You for helping us out. Remember the story of the 10 lepers (in the Bible) who Jesus healed, but only 1 turned around to tell Jesus thank You. Luke 17: 12-19 And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off; And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at the feet of Jesus, giving Him thanks; and Jesus answering said Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger? And Jesus said unto the man who was healed "Arise, go your way; your faith has made you whole. I always want to be the one who says thank You. |

What a blessing to have such a wonderful repairman that you trust then to have the AC still under warranty.Hope your AC is running fine now.I am so happy for you that your AC was still under warranty which meant a less costly repair.
What a lovely story! God does indeed take care of us!!
