Top 2 Things you've learned about relationships
1. After almost 45 years of marriage, I've learned that humor is your best
friend! My husband had my heart on the day I met him by making me laugh.
Lots of arguments can be short circuited with humor. I have precious
memories of my parents laughing together.
2. Relationships take time and attention. Whether it's a friendship, a child,
parent relations, marriage, or any other relationship that we have with
another person, it takes time. If you don't pay attention to the other
person, and you don't learn their character, then the relationship will
fail. I've had friendships fall apart for lack of attention. And that
always hurts.

I've seen that relationships take work several places but it is so true. It always amazes me how people will spend thousands of dollars on weddings, but not a dime on their marriage. It is important to "maintain" your marriage like you would change the oil in your car - regularly! =) Enjoyed reading your post!
