Meet me on Monday

Since Java is taking a break, I went to Bears at Home for the 5 questions:
http://homewiththebears.blogspot.com/2011/02/meet-me-on-monday_14.html

If you want to post your answers, come back
and leave a comment and I will
visit you.
I could do a Mr. Linky and a button if I knew how.

1. Did you marry your first love?
2. What was your favorite childhood game or activity?
3. Did you grow up in the city or country?
4. How many siblings do you have?
5. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
***********************************************************************

1. Did you marry your first love?
I dated a lot when I was a teenager, and I thought I was love several times.
(even got engaged a time or two) But when true love walked in the door, I
knew it! So, I guess, the answer to that would be yes!

2. What was your favorite childhood game or activity?
My mom liked to play games...cards, board games, etc. But she wasn't the
best sport...she was very competitive. So, I didn't enjoy playing games.
When my mom was dying of brain cancer, I was her caregiver. She got bored
and was too weak to do much. But we began to play Yahtzee. I hope I never
forget the talks we had, or the laughs we shared during that time.

3. Did you grow up in the city or the country?
I've always been a city girl.

4. How many siblings do you have?
I have 5 brothers. Two are deceased.

5. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Maybe four. But I only wear my sandals. I have neuropathy in my feet, and
it's hard to find shoes that are comfortable. Since I've discovered these
sandals, and they are comfortable, that's what I wear.

We had a wonderful time shoe shopping Saturday afternoon! We went to a shoe store called "Shoe Dept". Oh my, the whole store was full of shoes. Shoes everywhere!
And at great prices. I'm talking $4.99. And Converse shoes for $9.99. Oh, I know
you want to come through your computer and go shoe shopping with me! :)

Hi Dianne. Thanks for your comment and visit. I love getting to know other bloggers so I hope you'll visit again. I've enjoyed my visit here.

I'm going to miss Java, but I understand why she has decided to take a break.

Hugs,
Kat
