Common Sense Sunday

This is another beautiful day in Oklahoma. It would be like yesterday except today we have wind. Supposed to go up to 65. Common sense says "go out and take a walk. Walk for at least 10 minutes".

If you get stung by a bee and you are allergic to bee venom...common sense says "watch yourself for signs and symptoms of allergic reaction. Or go ahead to the e.r."

If you buy frozen foods, common sense says "put them into the freezer...not the laundry basket". Wasn't me who did this....was my d.h.!!

My dad's last remaining sibling passed away last night. Out of 13 children born to Dorothy and Thomas Shattles, there are none left. That's hard for me to wrap my brain around. When Aunt Dot was told of my dad's passing September 30th, she said "I just want to go with him". And now 2 months later, she is gone, too. Dot had so many health problems, and she had been in misery for a long time with Parkinson's.
With so many siblings, and her parents, I can imagine there is a lot of hugging going on!

"They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from henceforth even forever". Psalm 125: 1-2

Oh no, a death in your family too. I'm so sorry! It was such a tough week for us, but oh that family time was precious!
