Casie is doing real well. His surgery was Monday morning. This vet was very sweet, and she wanted to be sure we understood the health benefits of having pets spayed/neutered. I appreciated that.
We had some excitement this afternoon. The girls had been chewing gum, then they were playing pretty rough. Ally's gum shot out of her mouth straight into Brianna's hair! I used the peanut butter trick, which worked pretty well. But the best was to use Dawn dish detergent! It seemed to almost melt the gum. I thought if it would work on oil in bird feathers, it probably would work on gum in a little girls' hair. I'm satisfied with the results.
It was near 100 today. I am so very thankful for an air conditioner that works! It's almost cold in here!!
