These are pictures of Memorial Day at Dana's house. We had such a good time. Mike's mom, Ruth, was there, too.
Look who's a safety patrol!!
The girls are enjoying their Fun School (otherwise known as Summer School). Summer school isn't about repetitive math equations or laborious English papers. At Union Public Schools the full day summer school program sneaks in learning between sun, fun, and fitness. Children have their reading, writing and arithmetic but the attractions are the courses not offered during the school year. Summer classes include basketball, taekwondo, percussion, arts and crafts, and even a crime scene investigation course. This first six weeks, all three of the girls are taking cooking class (where they learn to make fun stuff like smoothies or marshmallows). Brianna and Cheyenne are also taking sewing (where they are making tooth fairy pillows), and Ally is taking computers. Every school should do this during the summer! It's all of June, and is 4 days a week. I love the school system these girls are in.
