I'm thankful for this man I married almost 44 years ago. He's just right for me and my personality. He's so patient with me, even on days when I'm not patient with myself!! I wouldn't put up with me....... He's a good dad and a good granddad. When someone in our family has a problem, Dennis is the first person they call. The guy seems to be able to fix/repair anything. He can be a stubborn, obstinate man, but for the most part, he's easy to live with. Now if we can just fix ME!
I'm so thankful that I live in a country that allows me to worship God in the way I want to. I can attend worship services in the church of my choice. I can purchase, own, read, and carry openly the Bible. I share my love of my Heavenly Father openly. There are some countries that do not allow a Bible to be taken in the country. You can not talk openly about Christ or share Bible verses with anyone. I would probably be arrested right away, because I can not stop talking about the Lord and all He has done for me and my family.
My prayer today is for the 10 missionaries in Haiti that are being held on child trafficing charges. Only God knows the full, and true story behind this, and I pray that the truth will come out, and soon. In my own heart, I believe these people saw a truly sad situation concerning children and had a deep desire to help them. Please join me in praying for this situation.

Dianne...what a loving tribute to Dennis.I am also concerned about the missionaries being held in Haiti.I am sure they felt that they were doing what was right for the children.
