Cheyenne is 9

It was a day of celebration in our home yesterday as Cheyenne turned nine! She was such a happy little girl all day. She asked me dozens of times if her daddy was going to be home from work, if she was going to open her gifts that day, would she have her birthday cake. To every question I answered "what did your daddy tell you?"
You see, every birthday around her is celebrated on a different day because of DJ's work schedule, and this year Cheyenne's birthday came at a time when DJ could leave work earlier than usual. But Cheyenne wasn't sure of that, thus the questions all day. How happy she was to see her daddy walk in the door! Let the celebrations begin! After a trip to WalMart to pick up the cake, and get the new bike, we celebrated a birthday at our house. Happy 9th birthday, darling Cheyenne!

DJ also bought a kit for making a gingerbread house. I'm not the highest kite in the sky and the directions don't make any sense to me, but DJ said he will help me.
