Thankful Thursday

It's Thursday, and I am thankful to be able to say that God sent someone here today to (look at the van. The guy used to own his own repair shop, but after 7 heart attacks,he has decided to retire, and just use his talents for repairing cars to help people. A wonderful family friend sent him here to us, and I am so grateful.(remember, Bonita, I said God would send someone here to us?) I called our church office this morning to ask if they have a directory of church members who will help people with various repairs. She said no, but that's a good idea. She said she would have one of pastors give us a call. He did call, but by then the first man had already come and was busy out front testing things under the hood. He ruled out the starter and the fuses. He thinks it's something to do with the ignition and the part would only cost $18.
A "cold" front moved through here last night, along with storms, and lowered our temps from 102 to 91. Of course, the humidity was way higher, but with the wind that was blowing all day, it felt pretty good. It's supposed to rain again, and the temperature tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 80's. Supposed to be below 100 every day next week. Yay!
