Remember back when I said I would post pictures of Ally and Brianna getting their red banner award? Well, they are. I finally got the camera attached to the computer to upload the pictures. I usually get to it, it just takes me a while!
Today is sunny, 50, and very windy. We seem to have a lot of wind around this place.
It stormed last night (with rain instead of snow) and that left the weather cool. The air has that rain washed look about it, and it's very sparkly clean. The sky is such a lovely shade of blue. I'll bet Crayola doesn't have such a blue in it's box of crayons.
I walked around to Denise's house this afternoon. Yes, all by myself, I walked! I'm very proud of that. If you don't know why, read some back posts........
Anyway, I fully enjoyed the visit. Denise showed me some really pretty quilt designs, and patterns. She has almost completed one quilt, and is in the beginning stages of another one. All the kids have put in their order for one! Then Denise read me a story created by Joylyn about the Black Plague. It was very well written, and I got caught up in the characters. Then Denise read me another story. This one was written by Emily about the Mt Vesuveus volcano. That was exciting, and once again I was caught up in the characters. Very well written, Emily! I left shortly after the reading and came home. The walk home left me tired and out of breath, but very proud of myself.
Ally's therapy session went well. I really like the therapist, and Ally seems to like her, too. Joan is teaching us how to handle Ally's "melt down" sessions. She doesn't do it very often, but often enough that I need to know some tricks on how to get the situation under control.
Time to go get another cup of coffee. See you on Facebook!
