Fun Friday was spent recovering from the Season! Boy was I tired. Don't children ever get tired? The girls have been their normal selves (and then some!) while Dennis and I have slept off and on during the day in our chairs! I was thankful for leftovers so I didn't need to cook a meal. I put the leftover ham in my crockpot on warm (yummmy!), Dennis made mashed potatoes, corn, and I made Stove Top Stuffing. And a whole cherry pie was left over.
Today was a very windy day....30 m.p.h. wind gusts. We had a high of 76, but cloudy all day. We will have a front move through tomorrow morning which will bring thunderstorms. Crazy weather.
I'm glad I suspended Ally's councelling sessions until January 6th. Oh, yeah, did I ever mention here that Ally has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome? She sees her councelor every Tuesday morning. Last week when we had an ice storm, I called and cancelled the appointment, and then decided to tell the councelor that we should just postpone the sessions until after the Christmas season. I'm glad she agreed.
Sure hope you had a good Day yesterday, and it was spent with people you love. That's what Christmas is about.....love. The love of God for His people, and the love of His people for each other. "this is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you".

The weather you had yesterday moved north to our area.It was in the 60's today.Sure felt odd to be outside without even a jacket on at the end of December.Aren't leftovers the best.We have ham and side dishes left over from Christmas and we sure are enjoying them.
