If it's raining, it must be Tulsa!

*sigh* Everyday it rains. Most days it storms. It's getting pretty soggy in our area. Our backyard is flooded in the area where the dogs like to sleep. It's funny in the morning when Dennis goes to let them outside, they look around at all the water everywhere, and go back inside! Silly dogs......

I graduated from diabetes education class yesterday. Hopefully they taught this old dog some new eating habits. I have a spiral notebook that I write everything down in that I eat, I write my blood glucose level, my insulin dose (because it changes with my glucose level). I feel like all I think about is food, insulin, and sugar levels! I've discovered that it's carbs that raise the sugar. Who knew?! I'm from the generation that counted calories.

I'm actually enjoying cardiac rehab. I've met some nice people and I look forward to seeing them three times a week.

And the techs are just great. They make me feel safe. I've had a couple of times where I had a problem during rehab, and the techs were right there helping me get through it.

Our grandson, Austin, turned 13 yesterday. He is turning out to be a sweet, delightful young man. Aren't grandchildren just the greatest?!
